“Page Turners” Book Club 2022 is Active!

Co-chairs Kelly Gradert and Kim Rice generated a lot of enthusiasm for a new monthly book club sponsored by the Friends of the Library at the initial meeting at the Wine Sellars May 15. Those present agreed on the name “Page Turners” for the book club and generated a list of potential books to read. The book club is open to the public and extra copies of the book will be available through the library.

ALL book discussions are held on Mondays from 4:30 to 5:30 at the Macomb Public Library Meeting Room.

July 18.  American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins. 

July 25. The Girl in His Shadow by Audrey Blake. (This is a “Big Library Read” selection)

August 8. Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger.

September 19. Maya’s Notebook by Isabel Allende.

October 17. The Loneliest Americans by Jay Caspian Kang.

November 14. Dressmakers of Auschwitz by L. J. Adlington.

December 14 4:30 p.m. (Wednesday) at the Old Bailey House. Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan will have a short discussion as we share appetizers and wine and socialize. We will also select our books for next year. Please join us.
