Mystery Book Club

Mystery Book Club is an adult reading/discussion group sponsored by the Friends of the Macomb Public Library.   It meets the fourth Wednesday every month from August to May (except for November when the club meets the week after Thanksgiving) at 7:00 pm.  The meeting will be held in the Macomb Public Library Multipurpose Room.  The July meeting will be a joint meeting with the Great Reads Book Club.  There are no dues.

A  copy of  the selected books can be ordered at the New Copperfields Book Service on the Macomb Square.   Titles not owned by Macomb Public Library may also be requested through inter-library loan. Please try to submit requests at least 4 weeks before a title’s discussion date.   Also,  if the books is available as an eBook, our library will order a copy.

2018 – 19 Schedule:

July 11:  “The Nix” by Nathan Hill.  Discussion led by Tom Joswick. Joint meeting hosted at Kim Cunningham’s starting with a pot luck at 5 p.m.

Oct. 24    “The Temptation of Forgiveness” by Donna Leon.  Discussion led by Phil Weiss.

Nov. 28    “The Glass House” by Louise Penny.   Discussion led by Alice Roberts.

Dec. TBA   Joint Christmas Party with Great Reads Book Club.
