In honor of National Library Week, the Friends of the Library will have their Annual Dinner, Thursday April 14, 2016 at the Macomb Country Club starting at 5 p.m. social hour, 5:45 p.m. a short business meeting, 6:00 pm. dinner at at 7:00 p.m. our guest speaker.   Barbara Harroun, Assistant Professor of the WIU English Department will present “Radical Optimism and Literary Activism: a “Mostly Joyful Journey.”  The presentation is open to the public.
